Meet Diane
Diane Brim was born in Pensacola, Florida and has lived there most of her life. She began painting in 1999, fell into abstract painting in 2002, and has joyfully never looked back. She has won numerous awards in juried exhibitions and has studied with many local and nationally known artists.

Diane’s striking abstract paintings can best be summarized as boldly colorful and expressively free. She employs a myriad of luminescent hues in her paint selection with the emphasis on spontaneity and dynamics. If the painting does not have the “wow” factor, she will start over, letting the work serve as an under layer for a new one.

Through the years Diane has won multiple awards from the following: Artel Gallery, Pensacola Museum of Art, Pensacola Interstate Fair, Gulf Breeze Arts Festival, Destin Festival of the Arts, Bay Rivers Art Guild, plus many more.

Her works have been featured in exhibitions in Luna Fine Art Gallery, Quayside Art Gallery, Artel Gallery, Great Gulf Coast Art Festival and more.
